Shipping & Delivery

UK Orders

Goods are usually processed on the same day the order is received (for orders received on a working day i.e. Monday to Friday). However, during exceptionally busy times it may be necessary to despatch goods the day following receipt of an order. Depending on weight, orders are sent either by Royal Mail or by courier and generally take a maximum of 6 working days to deliver. However, during busy seasonal periods, post via the Royal Mail may sometimes be subject to delays.

Overseas Orders

All overseas orders are despatched by Royal Mail International Economy (formerly known as surface mail). Please allow approximately 2 weeks for delivery to Europe, from 4 to 6 weeks surface mail for the US and from 8 weeks surface mail for Australia and other non EU countries. Occasionally — and particularly during the run up to Christmas when the postal services can be subject to delays and backlogs  deliveries may be late and once the parcel leaves our offices the timing of the actual delivery becomes beyond our control. An International Standard (formerly known as airmail) and courier service with tracking is also available at an additional cost, please do contact us – gilly@quillerbooks.com for prices.

Privacy & Security

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We collect information about you to administer your order and to provide you with the best possible service. We do not make our mailing lists available to third parties. You have the option to unsubscribe from our mailing list prior to receiving mailings by using the unsubscribe button on our mailing list. The information we collect about you includes your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. You can check the information that we hold about you by contacting us. We may impersonally track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site in order to improve the service experience we offer by using a 'cookie'. In essence, a cookie is a unique identifier that tells us simply when a computer that has previously visited our site returns, and what pages it requests on each of its visits. Cookies help us keep track of visitors' patterns in using our site, including such things as the frequency of their visits and the pages that are most popular. In no event does the cookie we place on your computer tell us anything about your visits to other websites (except those you enter through a link on our site), or your use of the internet in any other way. If you would still prefer not to receive any cookies, most browsers can be set to refuse cookies or to alert you when one is being sent.

Returns & Replacements

If you are not satisfied with your goods, then please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing admin@quillerbooks.com. Upon written notification we will at our option exchange the goods. To exchange, the goods must be returned in the original packaging and in the same condition in which they were received. Please note that our returns and replacement policy does not affect your consumer statutory rights.

Ordering

Orders may be placed via our secure website or by letter, telephone, fax and email. All transactions are in Pound Sterling. When placing an order via the Website, you will receive an email confirming we have received your order. All books are usually available for immediate despatch. However, on the rare occasion when a book is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you by e-mail and offer you an estimated despatch date and the option of cancelling your order. If paying by cheque please make cheques payable to Quiller Publishing Ltd.

If you encounter any problems or require any advice regarding your purchase, please contact us. We regard the satisfaction of each and every customer as central to our business and will always give any complaint the highest priority. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Prices and availability are correct at the time of going to press but are subject to alteration without prior notice although we will endeavour to notify you. Please do contact us if you have any queries about your order. If goods you have ordered are unavailable, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Prices throughout the website are quoted in Pounds Sterling and payment can only be accepted in Pounds Sterling. Prices include VAT (where applicable). Packaging and delivery costs where applicable will be added to the total price of your goods.
