Jeremy Hobson is well-known as a freelance professional writer and author specialising in all aspects of country living. Born in Yorkshire and now living in France, the journey between has incorporated a long career (over 30 years) in gamekeeping/rural estate management, as well as periodic radio broadcasting. During the season, he leaves his home in France to act as shoot captain for a well-known shoot in West Sussex. His numerous previous titles include The Pigeon Cook; The Rabbit Cook; Successful Smallholding; Running a Shoot; Gundog Training and Gamekeeping: A Guide for Amateur Keepers.
